In response to the California Labor Law AB 1522 (also known as the Healthy Workplace Healthy Family Act of 2014), we have created a new payroll feature which allows employers to manage paid sick days to temporary and part time employees.
Per the state of California’s Department of Industrial Relations:
An employee who, on or after July 1, 2015, works in California for 30 or more days within a year from the beginning of employment, is entitled to paid sick leave. Employees, including part-time and temporary employees, will earn at least one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked. Accrual begins on the first day of employment or July 1, 2015, whichever is later.
With this new feature, you will be able to customize your sick leave options, track your employee sick time entitlement, and pay your employees awarded sick time directly through the eRSP™ Payroll module.
We are here and ready to assist
